1970-1975 Amsterdam
It was a wet, cold and cloudy day on Wednesday, November 18 when it al began for Peter. For the next 5 years he developed his vocal and motor skills like any other toddler at that time.

1975-1985 Play Time
Growing up within the Golden years of European comic books - Asterix, Tin Tin, Lucky Luke etc..and the birth of the videogames, it is no wonder that these would influence Peter for his entire life...started with drawing/doodling comics based on the comics Peter read and not to forget the BMX racing.

1985-1990 Skateboarding and Graffiti
Teenager, being rebellious. After the movies Wild Style and Beat Street Peter hit the streets with his spray cans and skateboard. Late nights sneaking out of the house, playing cat and mouse with the cops and fresh paint everywhere making his mum crazy. Fun times.

1990-1999 Comics and Art
In his twenties it was working and army problems (long story, last mandatory draft) it was back to the comics and Peter picked up a paint brush and moved his art from the walls to the canvas. And ofcourse, parties, the parties in Amsterdam... Published his first comic - Bonehead. Unfortunately no digital version available. At December 5, 1998, Peter made his first scuba dive in Holland...something was looming in the future!

2000-2007 Around the globe as scuba instructor
After becoming Divemaster Peter read a tiny advertisement, want to become scuba intructor for free? Email dressel divers. One month later, Mexico! 2008 Fried Fish Comics
Settling on Curacao and became grounded after all the travelling once again, back to the comics. Internet was the way to go and a daily webcomic started. For the next few years it was comic and scuba diving on a caribbean island. Life could be worse... Read the comics!

2008-2019 Fried Fish Studios
Expanded the creativity to Game Developing and brought the comic and games under in Fried Fish Studios. For the next 10 years Peter would develop numerous games and maintaining his webcomic. And ofcourse, playing the dive instructor on a Caribbean island... Play the Games!

2020
A world wide pandemic stopping the world midturn and the official release of authentic UFO footage. The roaring twenties could not start any better. The world is on pauze, everybody is reflecting. Peter decided to close down the studio and just continue under his own name. At the moment, we all ride the pandemic wave and wait....and be creative!

2020-2021 Covid Pandemic
During the Covid lockdowns of 2020-2021, survival mode kicked in—but so did creativity! With all that extra time, Peter chilled, drew, and launched Bruno and Hand to Mouth before making a splash by reviving his scuba comic Da Good Life!

2022 World Opens Up
In 2022, the world finally took a deep breath and opened up again. Planes packed with excited divers made a splash in our little paradise, Curaçao, and business was booming. Meanwhile, Da Good Life comic found its rhythm—just like a perfectly timed safety stop!

2023 Da Good Life Published!
During a scuba lionfish hunt and art festival Peter organized, he crossed paths with the editor of Duiken magazine—proof that good things happen underwater! One thing led to another, and soon Da Good Life found its way into print. Now, every month, a fresh comic bubbles up in the pages of Duiken magazine!

2024 Guinnes World Record
On April 20, 2024, the CASHA Dive Task Force made a splash in the record books by breaking the GUINNESS World Record for underwater domino! With 138 divers, we took the record from the swimming pool to the ocean—because bigger is always better. And behind the scenes, Peter was the dive master of chaos, organizing the whole record-breaking dive!

2025 Cover DUIKEN magazine
The year 2025 kicked off with DUIKVAKER, the biggest dive fair in Holland—where all things scuba came to the surface! Duiken magazine joined the fun with a special edition featuring a cover by Peter, making a splash in more ways than one!

2025 AIDA 2* certified
On a personal note, 2025 started with a deep breath—literally—by completing the AIDA freediving course! After dabbling since 2017, the past few months got serious, leading to Peter's first official freedive certification (and way longer breath-holds)!
